My FOTD- Face of the Day!! :-)

 

 

 

Although making changes for seasons, my everyday make-up routine is "what you see on the tin" below :-)

 

For my face, I LOOOVVVE Benefit's Porefessional Primer. I firstly wash my face then apply it with my hands to smoothen out the skin's surface. It gives a silky smooth feeling to the face, while simultaneously providing an excellent base for foundation.


Foundation....... an item  I change depending on the season. At the moment I'm trying to let go of my Chanel Pro Lumiere :-( ( Good alternative is Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation!) It provides the most perfect glow to the skin, without having that overdone highlighted disco-ball look going on. :-) Applying it with a Real Techniques Buffing brush, it gives a lovely healthy glow for an everyday look.

To contour and bronze, I love MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium Deep. Because it has no shimmery particles, it provides a perfect framed look to the face just to enhance the face's natural definitions.

For blush and highlight, I ADORE Nars blushes. Most days ( for Spring/Summer) I opt for Ograsam or Torrid shown above. It gives a subtle sun-kissed touch to the cheeks. I use a MAC 129 brush to gently pop it onto the apples of the cheeks. For a gentle highlight on the tops of the cheekbones, I usually opt for MAC Soft & Gentle Mineralized Skinfinish with a Real Techniques contour brush.


To conceal, I love full coverage concealer like my MAC Studio Finish Concealer. I use a Real Techniques domed shadow to blend the concealer up towards my temple, a technique similarly used by the Kardashians!


For my eyes, I like to keep it simple. Using the Urban Decay Naked 2 Pallet. I usually pop Suspect all over the lid, push Snakebite into the outer corner and Half Baked in the inner-tear duct area to brighten it up :-) With eyeshadow done, I like to layer coats of Bourjois Voluminizer Mascara- must have!!!

To finish the look, a quick lick of lipgloss usually MAC Big Baby or Barry M's Toffee lipgloss in shade no. 2, or the one that smells like Toffee!!!! :-)
