How to get the 'Kardashian' Bronzy Glow!!

We all know the Kardashian sisters love a good ol highlight and that sun-kissed glow, so with the  lovely weather we have in Ireland as of late, I've been trying all the tips and tricks from the pros. We know that Kourtney loves the more natural look lately, focusing on good skin topped with a red lip. Khloe loves to rock that glimmering top of the cheekbone highlight, a sultry smoky eye and luscious nude lips while Kim concentrates on the contours and under-eye brightness. So, I have found some products to help you get the Kardashian look without the hefty price tag!!

1) Clear up the skin!

As Drake says, start it from the bottom. In order to have the flawless skin like the Kardashians, one MUST look after their skin. That means ladies- cleanse, tone & moisturise. To take the hassle out of looking, I have found two of the best cleansers to banish unevenness and to brighten the overall look of your face. ( not to mention the clean feeling they leave behind!!) Lancomes Bi-Facil Cleanser ( comes free with purchase sometimes, so check your stash!) is my holy grail when it comes to cleansers- mascara, eyeliner, falsies you name it, it takes it. It's not tough on the skin and leaves it, perfect. When I opt for the change, Clarins' Cleansing Milk with Gentian for Oily Skin left my skin like a babies bottom. no joke. Either of these products will clear your skin and leave your skin perfect for priming. It makes your skin so soft that your make-up will glide on and not clump or lump in places. LOVE!

2) Perfect Base- Foundation & Bronzer!

Girls, we could talk about foundation forever so I won't be long here. Any heavy duty foundation will pronounce the face contours, if this goes wrong- well, we're doomed. Blend, blend, blend! If that doesn't work- buff, buff, buff!!! I swear by a primer, but it's personal preference. The Smashbox Colour Correcting Primer along with the Armani Luminous Silk ( a favourite of Kims!) or the MAC Studio Fix are the usual suggestions that I cannot recommend more. To give your skin that extra glow, try missing MAC Strobe Cream with your foundation to be all out glamorous. Once the face is perfect, start chiselling out those cheekbones to define the face. NARS Laguna, MAC Harmony/Blunt Blushes, Benefit Hoola....... the list is endless but my favourites are NARS and Harmony by MAC..... long lost Kardashian by the time I'm through ;-) I like to use the MAC 168 Brush for contouring, always. Blend it out with a stippling brush.

3) GET THAT GLOW!!!

After you've bronzed, contoured and perfected your base, HIGHLIGHT! The key to the Kardashian glow is highlighting areas that you want brightened- under the eye, underneath the brow bone, down the centre of the nose and of course the tops of the cheekbones. For the under go for the cream highlight. My favourite is the MAC Prep + Prime in Light Boost, long time favourite. For anywhere else, MAC Soft & Gentle, Whisper of  Guilt and Dior's Amber Diamond are the best in my opinion. Don't forget to add gloss to tie the whole look together. One of Kim's favourites is Nars Turkish Delight, mine would have to be MAC's Big Baby  Plushglass. If you want to opt for the nude lip, MAC Myth, Crème de Nude  and Angel are known lipsticks of the Kardashian sisters... I say follow suit!;-) And your done! Easy. ;-)
