M.A.C Alluring Aquatic Collection- My Purchase!
Every year MAC hits us with a beautiful sunny summer collection, full of beach ready products to make us look fabulous when we decide to bare our pale skin here in Ireland. In light of the brief sunny respite in the last two days, I thought I'd tell you about the bronzer I caved and got. A sucker for the aquatic droplets scattered on the teal blue packaging, I said yes! ( bank balance always gives a tut when I go into MAC.....YOU KNOW YOURSELF!)

It got even worse when I saw the collection had Extra Dimension Eyeshadows, Blushes and Bronzers all in the teal packaging. Having swatched the Extra Dimension bronzers (top row on right display). Now, I'm quite fair but I was disappointed with these pigmentation wise. So the only purchase I made from the collection (so far!) is the bronzer on the bottom right of the right-hand display. I do 'like' the blushes seen above these, but I tried to be good! The nail polishes also looked intriguing, I love anything that gives a metallic/high-shine finish. I already have MAC Soiree from another collection, for those who might have that, the polishes are something similar.
This is what the bronzer I purchased looks like up close, in Refined Golden. Now, for those not used to the MAC Permanent line, Refined Golden can be purchased in regular MAC packaging. I was just a sucker for the packaging! Don't be alarmed by the darkness of the bronzer, a light hand for fair skin does the job. YOU WILL NOT LOOK ORANGE! :-D I like to use my MAC 168 angled brush for this bronzer, as it picks up just the right amount of product. I really like the bronzer, which I find to be similar in finish to NARS Laguna on the face.
